The company was established in 1967 by Tullio Gentilini and has operated in the field of mechanical grindings on behalf of third parties for over fifty years.

The company is historically specialised in the following activities:
- STRAIGHTENING: We perform precision straightening to solve problems of deformation that the components may have been subject to during the previous machining stages. Straightening is generally carried out post-treatment and has the aim of restoring the straightness of various types of pieces such as shaft components, axle shafts, pins, spindles and others, within a range and at the control points agreed on with the client. We have automatic crack detection machines that use sensors to identify the points where the piece has deviated from the longitudinal axis. In this way, we are able to immediately identify any past deformations already at the time of entry of your piece. We have both manual and automatic straighteners and we can straighten components with a diameter and length of 1 metre max diameter 50.
• Advantages of straightening: the possibility of performing cold straightening both before and after the heat treatment with very narrow tolerances has the advantage of performing the subsequent machining stages in a more simple way, in some cases also eliminating vibrations caused by the distortion. This is necessary for the machining operations to be carried out keeping under control the initiation of any cracks in the material or breakages.
• This operation is carried during the process stage, eliminating the need for subsequent control and destructive tests. - INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL GRINDING: We are specialised in internal and external grinding. Grinding is a precision mechanical operation that entails the use of a grinding wheel to eliminate the surface material of the piece. Using CNC and traditional machines, we are able to adjust steel and hard metal pieces. We perform grinding on shafts, pinions, gears, axle shafts and other mechanical components. We respect the tolerances requested and control the pieces using sophisticated measuring tools.
The most modern technologies, the long-standing experience of our operators and continuous training allow us to meet requests of clients operating in a wide range of sectors. We can grind pieces from 1 metre in length through to a diameter of 360. - THREAD GRINDING: We grind threads on shafts, pinions, gears, axle shafts and other pieces. This type of grinding is highly specific and precise and for this reason it requires experience and skill. It is fundamental to use specific abrasive tools. We have avant-garde machines and tools that can meet the requests of our clients and the different types of product. The processes are managed using CNC machines that comply in full with the highest market standards.
